Mobile Apps, Smartphones & iOT
I transitioned from QA to product and I had this opportunity by working with a global technology company. I was initially hired to build the QA team for North America and was given the opportunity to start my product career by launching the well known smart phone devices what we know of today as the Galaxy.
Mobile apps & iOT
Prior to getting into product I was hired by global tech company to launch their version of a smart phone ecosystem as a QA manager. My team and I were responsible for testing all apps submitted to the app store and as well new iterations of the operating system. As Android and iOS captured majority of the market the app store was eventually made available on Android. All IOT devices launched was used the rebranded version of the operating system that was compatible on Android and iOS

Galaxy Nexus - Android 4.0 ~5.1.1
One of my favorite smart phones that I had the pleasure to launch in Canada was the Galaxy Nexus. This device was originally scheduled to launch on Oct 5th 2011, but was rescheduled for Oct 19th out of respect of the death of Steve Jobs. The launch of this device was in collaboration with working with external stakeholders that was the Telecommunicaiton companies of Canada.

Samsung Galaxy S III
Galaxy SIII was the most sold galaxy s line which sold over 80 million units world wide. Unlike the Google branded nexus devices launched in Canada, the Samsung Galaxy S lines was customizable. Wireless companies had the option to preload their Android apps and widgets. Features and capabilities were created for each wireless carrier based on their business requirements. User requirement was to ensure all Galaxy S lines provided the best user experience for features such as: voice, SMS, MMS & video streaming. Each carrier had their specific RF(radio frequency) to cell site requirements, which means it was key to ensure the hardware and software was performing at the standards of Samsung quality.
